Any questions?

I'm sitting here trying to decide what to write about today. Should I talk about how difficult my run was last night? The fact that my air conditioning was out for 2 days when it was 90 degrees outside? The fact that I'm trying to avoid a buffet of sweets which exists just a few feet from my desk?

Nope, I don't feel like talking about that stuff right now. So, if there's anything you'd like to know, or if there's a topic you'd like to see covered on Morgan Gets Thin, let me know!

I don't know that this is going to make you feel any better... but look on the bright side: your a/c could have gone out when it was 105 with 93% humidity (as mine did last year). :-P

I've got a question - I read an article not too long ago that had been written by a woman who had lost over 100 lbs. She said that a few times she's had weird conversations with people who didn't know her when she was at her heaviest. They'll make derogatory comments about fat people, and expect her to join in...when really, she's horrified by what they just said. At the time she wrote the article, she said that she still hadn't figured out how to respond to these people. Has something like that ever happened to you?

hey.. let's go down a happier road... ... anyone who's been running for any amount of time will relate to this ...

I was out for a run before work yesterday and got this wake up lesson from a cancer survivor. (http://perfectmomentproject.blogspot.com/2008/07/pure-joy-and-lessons-of-survivor.html)

Battling cancer through Pure Joy ... snapped me out of any funk I was in.

did you have any plateaus while losing the 100 pounds, and if so what was the toughtest - 20 pds, 30 pds, 40pds etc? how long did the plateau last -2 weeks, 3 weeks, 2 months, how did you get through it and NOT lose motivation?

I would also like to know if you had any plateaus? I've lost 45 lbs since January but in the last month have been struggling to keep losing. I keep gaining and losing the same 2-4 lbs. I've found myself really straying from my plan and am having a very hard time going back. I really don't want this to turn out like all of the other times when I would lose weight and regain it. I would love to hear if you experienced and low points during your weight loss and what you did to over come it.
