Thanks, and goodbye

After much consideration, I've decided not to update this blog for the foreseeable future. While I appreciate all the (mostly) kind comments and support I've received, this blog is no longer a source of enjoyment for me. I don't want it to turn into something that I dread doing.

I thank everyone who has read this blog and found it useful in some way. I wish everyone who struggles with weight and body image the best of luck. We wear our addiction for the world to see, and it's not easy. I still believe a better, more healthy life is possible for us all. It can be done.

Love,
Morgan

There's a little *Morgan* star in the night sky I will look at and make a wish on: good health and happiness for you...and may you find your way to where you want to be.

Thanks for a great ride!

It seems so many of my favorite blogs are shutting down. I understand all the reasons but I will miss you. Thanks for taking us along for the ride and I wish you a lifetime of health and happiness.

May I leave you with one more thought?

Please. Keep. Writing. (Or speaking out. Or living out loud.)

No, not at this blog--and not about weight, addiction, food, or any of the other stuff you're probably sick of thinking about.

You have a remarkable voice.

Funny, biting, honest, bitter, unique, and beautiful. I hope you will use your energy for good (writing, loving, laughing, celebrating life...) instead of evil (dieting).

(Okay, that last part was a tad hyperbolicky.)

I guess I'm rooting for the *other* Morgan to be heard. You're so much more than a food addict, so much more than a loser or gainer of poundage, so much more than a runner, so much more than a woman who is fat or thin or in between, so much more than a blogger.

You're Morgan.

I really like what Anonymous said up there (One more thought?).

Still, it feels good to let go of something you don't enjoy anymore, doesn't it. Good for you for making a hard decision!

Or maybe it wasn't hard, and that's great too. We'll miss you! If you ever start writing publicly again, let us know! I'll keep this in my RSS feed, and I'm sure many others will too.

Dear Friend,

If your goal is to lose fat as fast as humanly possible, it should be no surprise that you absolutely MUST learn to maximize the amount of time your body is actually burning fat. After all, if your body is actively burning fat for 10 hours each day, you'd get much faster results than if it were only burning fat for five.

But what if you could literally burn fat twenty four hours a day…every day?

Do you realize how much faster you'd progress? How much more quickly the fat would melt away? How much more rapidly you'd have the body you want?

It's kind of bananas to me that you haven't updated this blog in 8 years, but I still come back to it from time to time to get inspiration. I identified so much with you and I miss your writing. I hope that wherever you are, you're happy and healthy - whatever that looks like.
